Copenhagen Airport, founded in 1925, is owned and operated by Copenhagen Airports A/S, a listed company which also owns and operates Roskilde Airport. In addition, Copenhagen Airports A/S is engaged in international acitivities in Mexico (nine airports), Newcastle International Airport in the UK and Meilan Airport in China. There are about 22,000 employees in the many different companies that together provide the services that have given Copenhagen Airport one of the highest ranking in the world.

Deutsche Lufthansa AG ranks upfront among the world’s leading airlines. As an Aviation Group, Lufthansa adheres fi rmly to economic and strategic criteria, focusing on the core competencies of its six business areas: passenger traffi c, logistics, MRO, catering, leisure travel, and IT services.

Ericsson is the largest supplier of mobile systems in the world. The world's ten largest mobile operators are among Ericsson's customers and some 40% of all mobile calls are made through Ericsson systems.

Sales for the IKEA Group for the financial year of 2005 (1 September 2004 - 31 August 2005) totalled 14,8 billion euros (135 billion Swedish kronor).
