In their latest installment of their market report covering supply chain management (The Supply Chain Management Market Sizing Report, 2006–2011), Boston based research group AMR Research reports continued growth for the supply chain management market including procurement and sourcing.

The report covers the full EPR market and included insight into the human capitol management (HCM), customer relationship management (CRM), product lifecycle management (PLM) as well as sourcing and procurement.

For sourcing and procurement AMR Research predicts a continued growth for the industry, reporting that the market grew by 10 percent in 2005-2006 and expected the market to grow 8 percent per year through 2011. Market leaders such as Ariba, Oracle, SAP and IBX are all reporting revenue growth of more than 10 percent. As communicated earlier, IBX reported 35 percent growth for 2006 (see press release).
